ENGLAND TALENT PATHWAY

Featherstone Rovers became an accredited ETP partner club in 2016. England Talent Pathway is a programme of coach and player development days in non-selective environments, which aims to develop all talent within the age groups of U12-U16s. The aim is to grow a greater pool of talent to improve standards and develop potential England Rugby League players. The ETP program has 4 key areas of development; Coachability; Mental Attributes; Game and Movement.
Featherstone Rovers run a series of open access development days throughout the year for both boys and girls. We encourage talent transfer participants where possible, therefore we welcome someone who might not have played Rugby League before but displays some of the skills attributes that could be applied to the game.
Become an Accredited Partner School
Featherstone Rovers Foundation can provide the help and support any secondary school to become an accredited ETP partner school.
Rovers have been working hard to develop Rugby League at Featherstone Academy over the past 2 years. This support has now been identified by the Rugby Football League as the Rovers have assisted the Academy to become an accredited England Rugby League partner school and utilise the 'England Talent Pathway' (ETP) framework in the curriculum. The school was the first to be accredited in the Wakefield District.
