MOTO COMMUNITY SUPPORT ROVERS TOTS
Moto Community Grants have awarded Featherstone Rovers Foundation £1500 to support the Rovers Tots project.
The Rovers Tots group has been running since 2012 and supports parents from within the Featherstone and local area helping to provide an opportunity to make friends, preventing social isolation and supporting good mental health. The group also provide learning activities and opportunities for the children under 5, many of whom live in areas of deprivation or disadvantaged communities. The sessions which run twice a week were in danger of closing if such funding couldn't be raised.

The Rovers Tots project coordinator Amanda Courtman said 'We are so grateful for Moto's Community Grants as this has allowed our fantastic and well attended Parent & Toddler group to continue it's work with families in the local community.'

The grant will also go towards purchasing some new equipment for the group and be able to offer some extra activities during the sessions.
